Method
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. Make sure the strawberries are fully dry before dipping.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Stir in coconut oil if needed.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip about two-thirds into the melted white chocolate.
- Immediately dip the bottom section into blue sanding sugar or blue sprinkles to create a patriotic red, white, and blue look.
- Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared parchment-lined tray.
- Let the strawberries set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the coating hardens.
- Serve chilled or slightly cool for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
Dry strawberries completely before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly. Use high-quality white chocolate or melting wafers for the smoothest finish. Add sprinkles while the coating is still wet for best results. Serve chilled for the freshest texture and flavor.
