Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crispy
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Equipment

  • baking dish
  • skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • brush for butter topping

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom layer in the dish.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then scramble in a skillet until just set.
  4. Layer scrambled eggs evenly over the rolls, followed by crispy bacon and cheese slices.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  6. Mix melted butter, maple syrup, garlic powder, and onion powder, then brush over the tops.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5 more minutes until golden.

Notes

Do not overcook the eggs as they will continue baking in the oven. Use connected rolls for easier assembly. Let sliders rest before slicing. Brush butter topping evenly for best flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
