- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles.
- Spread pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle, then add cheese and pepperoni.
- Fold the dough over and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash and cut small slits on top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
