- Wash the kale thoroughly and remove the tough stems.
- Add milk and kale to a blender first. Blend until the kale is finely broken down.
- Add frozen blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, and optional sweetener.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add chia seeds or protein powder if using, then blend again briefly.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Blend kale with the milk first for the smoothest texture. Frozen blueberries and frozen banana slices create a thicker and creamier smoothie. Add more milk to thin the consistency if needed. This smoothie can easily be customized with protein powder, nut butter, oats, or flaxseed for extra nutrition.
